July 21, 2008 - Orange County, California-St. Joseph Hospital is using digital signage software to provide better access to the status of each of its patients.

The hospital’s existing database is updated as patient and operative statuses change, thanks to technology from Omnivex Corporation (www.omnivex.com).

Omnivex’s digital signage solution enables the hospital to deliver critical patient data from that system -appropriately formatted in real-time-on 14 large-format LCD monitors located throughout the facility.

According to an article in Digital Signage Today, Omnivex software allows hospital staff to see changes in patient status, operating room availability and more. This capability reduces errors, while improving overall efficiency.
