There is a huge debate in the digitial signage industry right now over audio versus no audio. It really boils down to audience and venue. Some are right for audio, some arent.

Well it really depends on the location. Like, in a Wal-Mart, it would be pointless to use audio with their digital signage applications, because the damn store is so noisy and people are everywhere. It really wouldn’t be conducive to audio. On the other hand, a smaller boutique may benefit.
